Durrell

Durrell was diagnosed with Sickle Cell and has been in and out of the hospital since he was 9 months old. He had his spleen removed at the age of 3 and will soon have another surgery to remove his tonsils, adenoids, and the fluid buildup in his ears.

Durrell has dreamed of playing football since he was 2 years old, and this fall, he’s finally been approved to play for the first time! In addition to football, Durrell enjoys riding his bike and scooter, as well as roller skating. He also loves building things and breaking them down. Durrell and his family are beyond excited for their upcoming trip to Give Kids the World!
