One of the most important parts of helping A Wish Come True to fulfill its mission is to receive referrals of potential wish children. The wish process starts when a caring person refers a child to us. Learn about who is eligible for a wish to be granted and how AWCT accepts referrals. You could be that caring person. A Wish Come True is the oldest wish granting organization in RI, MA and Eastern CT.
Our Mission is to grant wishes AND provide resources to families that have a child struggling with a life-threatening illness, ages 3-18, living in Rhode Island, Central and Southeastern Massachusetts and Eastern Connecticut.
In August 2023, just a few weeks before his second birthday, Bailey was diagnosed with left eye retinoblastoma. His journey began when his mother noticed his left eye changing to a darker shade of blue.
