Declan

In October 2024, Declan’s doctors discovered a Chordoma tumor at the base of his skull during an MRI for ongoing motor delays. He bravely underwent two major surgeries just days apart. One was to remove the tumor, and the other was a neck fusion to protect his spinal cord. Since then, he has faced a long recovery including daily radiation treatments and new medical routines. Despite it all, Declan continues to face each day with courage and a big heart.

Declan, a kind and imaginative 6-year-old, finds joy in cars, trucks, legos, and spending time with the people he loves most. His matchbox car cities stretch across rooms, filled with colorful and creative stories only he could dream up. He loves characters like Bluey and Curious George and enjoys video games with racing and action. Declan’s biggest wish is to visit Diggerland USA, a dream adventure that he and his family are so excited to share together.
