KIDS HELPING KIDS

MAKE WISHES COME TRUE!

Schools and student or children's organizations may want to raise funds for A Wish Come True. Please contact the office to learn how you can help “Sponsor a Wish." Funds can be raised through bake sales, dances, car washes, babysitting, or perhaps you have an idea of your own?  Through our Kids Helping Kids program, young people learn about giving back so a WISH child receive the dream of a lifetime. Please consider joining our growing list of kids helping kids!

Bishop Hendricken High School

The Hawks Helping Kids students from Bishop Hendricken High School have been volunteering for multiple events including our annual Polar Plunge in Newport, RI, RI Lady's Night, our annual Charity Ball, and A Wish Dinner Dance. Their efforts have made our events run smoothly, efficiently, and they have brought a lot of life to the party!

Cranston East High School

The Cranston High School East senior class council along with faculty adviser Andrea DiCicco were proud to announce that the class had reached their goal of providing a free prom to every senior who is eligible and had achieved several other goals as well. To leave a lasting legacy behind, the class has chosen to do one final fundraising push to grant the wish of a local child through the organization, “A Wish Come True.”

Pleasant View School 2015 - Pennies for Wishes

The Pleasant View school held a Pennies for Wishes fundraiser where they encouraged children to bring in pennies to then donate to AWCT. We are overjoyed that they raised $1,000!

Girl Scout Troop 505 out of East Providence, along with their troop leader, Cori Durfee, have been collecting donations for A Wish Come True's WISH kids! Thanks to their outstanding efforts, the troop collected 10 backpacks, waterbottles, sunscreens, sunglasses, photo albums, chapstick, pencils, and a bunch of other great stuff! The donations had a total value of over $350 and will go to children who are in the process of getting their wish granted! We would like to thank this Girl Scout Troop for their tremendous contribution and we hope they know just how grateful we are to see more Kids Helping Kids!
