Meghan K. Duffy Foundation and A Wish Come True Golf & Tennis Tournaments

Hello Friends,

We are excited to collaborate this year with the Meghan K. Duffy Charity Golf & Tennis Tournaments on August 17th, 2020 at Ledgemont Country Club! As you know, many golf tournaments have been rescheduled until next year but we wanted to continue our mission to help Wish Children and their Families. To do this cost effectively, we partnered with one of our strongest Donors. We anticipate the tournament to have restrictions; however, we also are excited to get great people together fighting for the common cause: “Dreams are only a SWING away”. 

A Wish Come True began 38 years ago and is the oldest wish granting organization in Rhode Island and Southeastern Massachusetts. Each year, a Wish Come True provides over 30 Wishes for children and youth, ages 3-18 that have life threatening illnesses. The average cost of a wish is $5,000 - $7,000 per wish. A Wish Come True stands out from other Wish organizations as they only have two staff. This means the money raised goes directly to making these wishes happen for these special children and their families. We are not associated with any national organization.

GOLF

8:00am - 9:00am -- Registration with donuts/coffee available

8:45am -- At your cart ready to drive to your hole*, Announcements

9:00am -- Shotgun

Format - Texas Scramble - Take best drive and play your own ball rest of the way to enjoy the amazing course.

Masks must be worn at all times on premise unless in your golf cart on course.

There will be multiple contests on the course -- air gun, hole in one, longest drive, closest to the pin etc.  

Lunch will be offered at the conclusion of your round.

Awards will be announced on the A Wish Come True website.

*Please note: We anticipate two people to a cart in August however, it is based on State regulations.

TENNIS

Round Robin tournament is 10:00am - 12:00pm. Registration opens at 9:15am.

Lunch will be offered at end of tournament and prizes will be awarded.

• Golf - $150 per player
• Golf Team - $600/team
• Tennis - $100 per player
