For many years Paul Sullivan participated in the raffles to help grant wishes to our kids. Now his good works are carried in his memory every Saturday at L'Attitudes Restaurant located in the heart of historic Pawtuxet Village. Roger "T" has been organizing this golf tournament for 20 years and it continues to be a huge success. Why? It's the only one which takes place after dark with golf-balls that light up. For 18 years Frankie Ray, his family and friends have been organizing this fun-filled weekend. Saturday from 12-7 features Louie Leeman and Cheap Sneakers; Blues Train, Shot in Dark and Wolf and the Jam Daddies. The Festival raps up Sunday with Eat a Peach; Detroit Breakdown; Wild Nites and Boneshaker playing from 12-7pm. There's something for everybody. Wish granters are volunteers who meet with the children and their families to find out what a child's wish will be. Wish Granters represent our organization and as such the wish granting training is a very in-depth session. The training usually lasts 2 hours.

Volunteer's application and background check are needed prior to training.

It's gonna be a HOCKEY NIGHT in Providence, on Thursday, January 27th!

Come out and "tip-a-Bruin!"  Join members of the Providence Bruins (Jeremy Reich, Jeff Penner & Jordan Smotherman scheduled to appear) and A Wish Come True for a great night at Murphy's Deli & Bar, located at 100 Fountain Street in downtown Providence!  From 6:00 until 8:00 pm, the players will be there signing autographs and taking photos with you!

Plus - you'll be able to purchase game tickets to see the Bruins play during the season at the Dunkin Donuts Center for ONLY $5, with ALL of the proceeds going to our wish kids!  Plan on bringing the kids, your family, friends, community groups and more!

Providence Bruins players will also be selling raffle tickets (an arms' length!) for just $10, as they will be raffling off autographed memorabilia and more!  Make your plans to join us at Murphy's on January 27th!

The Combined Federal Campaign (CFC) is the annual fund-raising drive conducted by federal employees in their workplace each fall.  Each year federal employees and military personnel raise millions of dollars through the CFC that benefits thousands of non-profit charities.

The 3rd Annual Punks for A Princess concert was a THREE-NIGHT affair this year, and the proceeds of $4187.66 will benefit the children of A Wish Come True!

Punks for a Princess is a nonprofit charity organization started in memory of 7-year old Kaitlyn Ferra, who tragically passed away on August 7, 2008.  Whether it be at home, at school, on the playground, or in scouting, Kaitlyn was always the first to lend a helping hand to any child in need of a friend.  That’s why this year, in honor of Kaitlyn’s loving nature, Punks for a Princess has teamed up with A Wish Come True!

September 3rd and 5th, the concerts were held at Club Hell in Providence, while Saturday's show (September 4th) took place at The Beachcomber in Quincy, MA!

It's "Beach Week" coming up at Hutnak Photography!

From July 24th through the 31st, we will once again be creating portraits of families and children down by the shore.  Call to schedule an appointment - proceeds from the session fee will be donated to A Wish Come True!

We are also in the midst of photographing the Class of 2011.  Any student entering their senior year will need to have their senior
portraits created over the summer so we are taking photos here at the studio and on location.  If a senior is required to go to
their contract yearbook photographer for the "head and shoulders" yearbook shot, we will refund them their session fee up to $25 towards their senior portrait purchase here at the studio!  Call us at (401) 949-8184 for more information!

Celebrate a World Boxing Championship with Rhode Island's own Peter Manfredo Jr.!

Manfredo recently claimed the IBO 160-pound world boxing title with a 10th round TKO over Angel Hernandez, to improve to 35-6 (19 KO's) for his career.  The former Contender TV star is hoping for more big things to come, and he celebrated his championship with friends, family and our wish children!  Pictured above, Peter with Michael Hartley and the title belt!

The best part yet - proceeds (more than $1100) from this celebration party will go to the children of A Wish Come True!

  The bad news - the annual Bay Queen cruise has been discontinued.

The good news - we still ROCKED the night away!

At the West Valley Inn in West Warwick for the 1st Wishes "Landlubber" Cruise, Friday night, June 11th!  We had ALL of the fun of the Bay Queen Cruise, without the boat and the water!

Featuring music from DJ "Just Juli," plus a buffet dinner and a great raffle as in previous years.  

All proceeds from ticket sales will once again benefit the children of A Wish Come True.

A great day on the Acushnet River Valley Golf Course on Thursday, June 3rd, sponsored by the Realtor Community Service Committee of the North Bristol County Association of Realtors!

Registration starts at 7:30 AM, and Tee Times will begin at 8:00!  The fee includes a cart, steak BBQ (which takes place right after play is completed), and a raffle with prizes...with a portion of all proceeds raised for the day coming to A Wish Come True.  Spend your day on the golf course, rather than at the office - for a GREAT CAUSE!!!

Through the entire month of May, the Twist Biscotti Company in Burrillville, RI will donate 10% of their entire monthly sales to our wish kids!

It's a part of their "TBC Social Movement," where 10% of their monthly proceeds are donated to local charities.  May is the month for A Wish Come True, so call - email - or go by to pick up your favorites!

At Twist Biscotti Company, they are dedicated to providing customers with fresh, high quality, gourmet products, using only the best ingredients.  Although the business is but one year old, their passion for biscotti spans almost two decades.  The idea for TBC was conceived by owner, Shannon McClure, years ago as a young girl in her great-grandmother's kitchen.

With headquarters in Burrillville, RI, TBC has shipped all over the United States, and aims to put RI on the map as "Home of the Country's Best Gourmet Biscotti!"  If you have not yet sampled their unique cookies, then you don't know what you are missing!

Our wonderful corporate partners from Horizon Bay Coventry held an event on our behalf on May 15^th, 2010.  A formal/semi-formal affair, with cocktails beginning at 6:00 PM, dinner at 7:00 PM and a big silent auction to help us raise needed funds for our children. 

“A Night of Wishes and Dreams” showcased the brand-new facility in Coventry, located at 600 Centre of New England Boulevard. 

A fantastic dinner, great live auction and a comedy presentation by Frank O'Donnell highlighted the evening!  Thank you to the staff at Horizon Bay Coventry for a fantastic night - $14,008 was raised from this event benefit to give to the children of A Wish Come True!  

Thursday, May 13th at the West Valley Inn in West Warwick, RI was the Induction Dinner and Ceremony for the Class of 2010 into the Rhode Island Radio Hall of Fame!  At the event were favorite radio celebrities from the past and present, and we brought back great radio days, to honor the men and women in RI Radio who have meant so much to our everyday lives!

Presented by Navigant Credit Union!  All proceeds benefit the children of A Wish Come True.

The 4th Annual Barry's Automotive Charity Golf Classic was held this year at Green Valley Country Club in Portsmouth, RI on Saturday, May 8th! 

$12,000 was raised for our kids in 2009, and we SOLD OUT 
AGAIN THIS YEAR!  Thank you to everyone who signed up to play!
