Click the
Newport National logo above for more information on the
2nd annual Barry's Charity Golf Classic!

The tournament was a complete sell out
again, and a huge success. 37 foursomes of golfers
battled the weather in the morning, which gave way to sunshine
and 70 degrees and provided for a beautiful day on the golf
course! It
concluded with a steak and chicken dinner
at Newport National.

The tournament raised $10,000
to benefit A Wish Come True, which grants wishes to
children in RI and
southeastern Massachusetts
who have life threatening illnesses.
The co-chairs for the tournament were Tommy Nasser, Rob
Sirois, Jay Andrade and Nancy Manchester.
Tommy and Peter Barry are pictured at left, with Peter and
AWCT Founder Rosemary Bowers on the right.

Also in attendance was a previous wish
recipient, Pierce and his family.
Pierce's family traveled to Disney World for his wish
and he shared his story about his trip and experience.
He's pictured here holding the trophy with the winning
foursome. Thank you to everyone at Barry Automotive, which has been able
to support 10 wishes alone in the last year!
Barry Automotive would like to thank all
of their sponsors, golfers and volunteers.
Without them, the golf tournament would not be able to
be the success that it is. Barry's looks forward to
hosting this tournament for many years to come!
